Miramichi Heritage Network welcomes our newest member: New Brunswick Aviation Museum

The New Brunswick Aviation Museum is a provincial museum located in Hanger 6 at the Miramichi Airport. The interim Museum is their base of operations, providing a secure home for their artifact collection and growing fleet of museum aircraft, as well as a proving ground for future exhibits and programs for their permanent Museum and Education Centre.

The Museum showcases New Brunswick’s military and civilian aviation history and heritage and is a strong advocate for the promotion of careers in the province’s aviation and aerospace sectors. The Museum celebrates New Brunswick men and women who have made a significant contribution to military and/or civilian aviation history, at home and abroad.

Through its exhibits, programs and activities, the Museum tells the stories of New Brunswick’s aviation pioneers and heroes, mentors and role models, and men and women from communities across the province. The museum is located in Hangar 6 at the Miramichi Airport and is open in July and August and by appointment only for the remainder of the year.
